Some stuff to look at
Hmm, it's been a while since anything's been posted here. Let me look through the reams of material on my home and school computers for things to add.

A Sincere Thank You!
I just need to say this before I crawl into bed...
I belong to an absolutely amazing school community and am constantly humbled by the level of support and love I feel from you all.
The students of CCS get a huge thumbs up from me despite having to 'put it all together' on the Friday nite of the first week of school at 10:00 p.m.
10 o'clock in the evening! ..... Wow. It could even be called cruel :)
Seriously, you all deserve gold medals.
Parents? I really do admire your willingness and sacrifice in having your families there in full force... the word 'admire' is quite insufficient actually.
Staff of CCS? Again, where would we be without you? I am so humbled and thankful.
Sleep well everyone, you deserve it a hundredfold!

p.s. Praise God from Whom ALL blessings flow!

Concert Tonight!
We had an excellent afternoon practice with more than 60 kids!! Thank you so much for all your support!
You can help make this a more pleasant experience for your children if they come this evening well rested, dressed in black and white and with a water bottle.
Find a seat with your families on the bottom floor of the auditorium of Redeemer University. The children are instructed to meet Mrs. Hordyk and Miss VanPopta when they move up on the stage.
The program begins at 8 pm.
Thank you!

Class One; Grade One & Two
A new crop of choristers!
Grade One entered choir class today for the first time. They were awfully excited when I said that yes indeed, they were having choir today. Grade Two are old pros of course, but they sure felt like big kids when they took possession of the top row on the risers.
Every choir class begins with a warm up, to limber up the body and voices. I must say I had a lot of fun watching them! Here's a couple of videos of Grade One and Two prepping for choir class:
Classes this week focused on the three songs we'll be singing on Friday at the Theological College Convocation. This is the 1 & 2 class singing Lord I Lift Your Name on High and their sheer enthusiasm alone ought to be a good reason to come join us for the evening!
[Yes, heavy focus on the little ones, but it's their teacher who takes most of the pictures and videos :) ]
