They're HERE!!

They're fresh off the press and ready for you! We know that you'll love it!

CDs are $20 each with cheques payable to CCS PTA.

While we're at still at school you can pick up your CDs there, but in the next two weeks they'll be available through Denise Ludwig, Joanne Hordyk or Tracy Jelsma.

If you're in the Hamilton area you can get your CD from Amy Hoogstad or Sarah VanPopta.

If you have any questions please email us at or leave a message in the comments.

Risky recommendation....

Skip the Christmas present thing and take your family to a live Messiah concert this year in some terrific cathedral. It will become one of the 'awesome' lifelong memories of childhood, guaranteed.

In the market for some more new music?

....while you wait for the new school CD to emerge of course! :)
Here's a link you may enjoy spending some time browsing in....
The Getty's are featured too. Go figure.

Great Hymns of Faith and Other Favourites

YAY! We did it! We put down TWENTY songs for our new CD and what an experience it has been! Such focus. Such incredible stick-to-it-tive-ness. Such EVERYthing!
I am so pleased and...a bit foggy too. :)
Yesterday, the concert participants rec'd their very own colour copy of the concert program.
(Thankyou Miss J for the most perfect classy program ever!)
Now I'd like the members of the CCS choir to report their favourite song and tell us what makes it their favourite song.
It's easy.
You click on comments and a box pops up.
You put the cursor in the box and type out your comment.
You pick an identity - choose anonymous and click on the comment button.
Voila! It appears like magic on the beautiful black backdrop.
Someday, we'll turn it all into a hardcover book.
Then you will have your own CD recording and published book!
You will be famous and travel the world and Oh, the places you will go!

Oh you're in for something good!

Oh what fun!

Singing with violins!

And a trumpet and horn!

And a harp!

What a glorious sound it was. Come join the fun on Friday :)

The Easter Program

Thank you Covenant Community for presenting the Easter message with such joy and finesse!
Thank you Miss J for capturing the essence of it with your video camera ... allowing us many "repeat performances" :)
God of Grace

In That Day I'll Sing Praises to You Lord

How Deep The Father's Love/Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross

O Sacred Head Now Wounded

Wonderful Merciful Saviour

My Saviour

See What a Morning (Resurrection Hymn)

Easter Program

Wasn't that a great program? I just LOVE watching the kids singing their hearts out :)
To begin your Easter weekend: Holy, Holy, Holy

It's called 'The calm before the storm'

The little front row ladies
An excellent maiden performance in solo singing!
The steady gaze of concentration...
And this young man may have the makings of minister yet...

By and large - an impressive show of discipline and concentration

And the Big People Choir Worked hard too!

And now, thanks to the time and talents of our own shutter-bug Miss J, we have visual evidence that our adult community choir...

.... does far more than sit around - drinking - coffee n' such

*sigh* Is this not a beautiful sight?

... as well as 'sound'!

This dedicated member put in an exceptional performance by 'skipping out' only early enough to help his wife have a baby.
How does one trump that sort of commitment?

The famous 'Dr. A' ... a theologian musician like Bach :)

Very studious bunch
whom I greatly admire

Making the Most of March Break

Gotcha Todd!
Luv y'all!
27 choristers for three hours? They were as stellar as the sunshine outdoors!
Wonderful, Warm and yes - Wet bums!

A picnic sort of lunch in the great outdoors on March 17.
Who would have guessed?
They got rhythm a plenty!
Girl power ... Woot!
See what I mean?

The young male choir contingent - these guys did really well
